Zaan is passisonate about the school and the kids and her goal is to make up at school for what their homes lack. Not all the children come from dysfunctional homes but too many of them do and Zaan is determined to do her utmost to ensure it doesn’t disadvantage them.
She has been principal for 13 years and holds a Level 5 Diploma in ECD (Early Childhood Development)

Valney joined the team in 2021 and is the assistant teacher in the junior class for 2-4 year olds, known as the Pikkie Klas. She has been associated with the school since her son, Yusuf attended Pikkewyntjies and her daughter Kate is currently in the Babbelbekkie Klas.

Genevieve is in charge of the Pikkie Klas. She has been part of Pikkewyntjies for 14 years. Her three daughters have all passed through the school, the eldest is now in matric at Hermanus High School. She holds a Level 4 Diploma in ECD.

Rose has not been a member of staff for long having joined the team in January 2022. She is the assistant teacher in the Babbelbekkies Klas, the senior class for Pre-Grade R and Grade R. She is originally from Kleinmond but lives in Mooi Uitsig during the week to be near the school. Her grandson, Sequile, lives with her and attends Pikkewyntjies. Rose has a level 5 Diploma in Early Childhood Development.

Jamie has recently been appointed cook, responsible for the children's meals and catering for school functions. Her daughter, Angelique is an ex Pikkewyntjie and her son, Aurin is in the Pikkie class.
