Pikkewyntjies’s “Fairy Godfather” as Zaan calls him, is the resident of Betty’s Bay who every year pledges a substantial amount of money to Pikkewyntjies and challenges other supporters to match it. So far, each year, with help from supporters in the UK who admire the school, the target has been reached and the school manages to stay in the black for another year.

As you know, it was his family’s special request this year that some of the money be spent on ex-Pikkewyntjies so the netball courts were repaired and fitted with lights and winter clothes were bought for school children and now also stationery packs have been distributed as the year has progressed and fresh supplies are needed.

Of course computers for each child would be better than stationery. We’re working on that but in the meantime a gift like this is very nice to get.
