Six years ago the Committee decided to raise funds to enable us to provide School Uniforms for our Grade R children, who progress to Primary School Grade 1.

A MUSICAL ADVENTURE WITH MISO

Last year Mary took over the fund-raising with a Musical Evening by Miso Markovina, which was a great success! The tradition was repeated this year & due to the demand, Miso & Pat very kindly hosted 2 evenings at their home. Unfortunately, due to Mary’s husband’s illness, she had to take a step back. Gloria & Pat helped out & both evenings were once again a roaring success. Thank you one and all who attended – your support made another dream come true.

CHASING THE FISH

Fun activity with the children. I made paper fish and they had to let the fish “swim” by waving a polystyrene plate. They loved the idea & when the time came to stop they wanted to continue.

KIDS AT WORK

The idea was to create a building/construction using plastic nuts & bolts….but instead this happened. The plastic bolts & nuts were used to build a hair salon & a few of the children even used the toy drills & saws for the hairstyles. Our little entrepreneurs – Watch out for the ‘Penguin Kidz Hair Salon’
