- Grease & Graduation
GREASE
On Monday evening, 25 November the Pikkewyntjies performed GREASE for a delighted audience packed into the Church Hall hired for the occasion.

The Show was directed and produced by Sandra Taljaard who is also the Chairman of our Board and it was a sparkling, fun-filled, joyful and impressive performance. We forgot, because of their confidence and enjoyment, that apart from five 6 year olds the rest of the cast was aged 5 and younger.
Veel geluk, Sandra and thank you for a marvelous, magical evening in all our lives.
GRADUATION
After the Show and the interval everyone took their seats again for the Graduation.
Our guests of honour, Alisdair and Moira Brown from Scotland presented graduation diplomas to the five Pikkewyntjies who are going to school next year.
Each of them was called onto the stage in gown and mortar board and when all five had been applauded they were helped into the final badge of honour, a new school bag
As you will know from the newsletter the Music Society in Betty’s Bay gives a concert each year to raise funds for their school uniforms so they go to school dressed like their peers as well as equally prepared and confident and without any idea of being dependent on the charity of others. The mission is to keep it like that as they make their way through school.
