METROPOLITAN LADIES GOLF CLUB DONATION

This is so AMAZING! The ladies of the Metropolitan Golf Club held a special day on the 4th September and raise funds for our school. The ladies all contributed in various ways, donating goods for our charity shop and also monetary donations. Prizes were donated, by Prins & Prins Diamonds, an auction held and a significant amount of money were raised. They also treated the kids, Gloria and I to a lovely lunch on the day. . A very special thanks to Gillian, Penny, Barbara en Rita for all the effort you put in to make this happen. Thank you ladies for caring and making a difference in the lives of the Penguin Kidz. The staff, School Committee, parents, the children and I are most grateful.

We are happy to announce that we were able to make 10,000 Rand for the Pikkewynijes Pre-Primary school in Betty’s Bay! Thank you to all who made this happen!

DONATION OF KIDS BACKPACKS

STRATMED (Di Slot- Pringle Bay) donated backpacks for each child. The backpacks are fitted with a special insert to keep their lunch cool and fresh. Hereunder the children just before leaving on an outing. They adore their bags!! Thank you Di, for once again thinkiing of and caring for the Penguin Kidz.

HOW CAN THIS BE?

It is the 27th of September, kids are sleeping……but….under warm blankets like during the winter! Today it is freezing cold and raining.

During a birthday party for one of the kids, one of our new children Adelaine enjoyed the cake so much!

BOTANICAL GARDENS PLANTING A TREE

The Botanical Gardens Team once again held a Tree Planting morning at the School. They engaged with the children and taught them about the environment and the importance of trees, plants and nature. Thank you so much guys for being part of Penguin Kidz/Pikkewyntjies Pre-School. We appreciate your contribution!
